Each of these shows is a qualifier for the NPS Fodder Dressage Finals, to be held 
on 14th /15th April 2012 at Addington Equestrian Centre, Buckinghamshire. 

Please ensure you are able to attend the finals before entering.

Class 1: Prelim 14 

Class2: Novice 28 

 

In each class the two highest placed ponies in each section at each qualifying show will 
qualify for the 2012 Final and be eligible to be chosen to compete for their Breed or NPS 
Area Team in the International Challenge which is to be incorporated into the 2012 Final. 

Sections are open to:- 

 

1. Registered Mountain & Moorland breeds not exceeding 138cm 
2. Registered Mountain & Moorland breeds exceeding 138cm 
3. Registered British Riding Ponies 
4. Part Bred Horses/Ponies registered with their appropriate Native Breed Part Bred 
Stud Book – including Part Bred Arab ponies over stamped in the British Riding 
Pony Stud book and ponies registered with the British Sports Pony Stud Book . 
Please note Part bred Native ponies and Sports ponies over stamped within the 
British Riding Pony & Stud Book may only compete in one section per season. 
5. Highest placed Mini rider aged under 12 years on 1st January 2011 
6. Highest placed Junior rider under 18 years on 1st January 2011 


 

ENTRY FEE: £12 per class. £15 late entry, space permitting – please ring first. 

No entries accepted without the correct fee. Cheques made payable to ‘Ford Farm Stables’. 
Proceeds to be split between Ford Farm , NFBP&CS, NFPEC and NFPPG. 

 

ENTRIES CLOSE on the Monday prior to the Sunday shows and 20th December for the Tuesday 
Show.

TIMES: Available on 01590 622515 between 7pm and 9pm on the Thursday prior to the Sunday 
Show and Friday 23rd December for the Tuesday show. If you fail to ring for times your place may be 
given to somebody on the wait list. 

 

PRIZES: Rosettes to 6th place. 

 

For the avoidance of doubt first aid will be strictly limited to NHS emergency

General Rules and Conditions of Entry 

 

1. All classes will be run in accordance with Official Rules for British Dressage. 

2. It shall be deemed a condition of entry that neither the organisers nor landowners nor their agents 

shall be held responsible for any loss, injury, damage to competitors, onlookers, their property, 

servants or horses or ponies, howsoever caused. 

3. Horses and ponies shall be 4 years of age or older at the closing date for entry. 

4. Rider / horse combinations may enter once only in each class. 

5. Horses may be ridden more than once in each class, but by different riders. 

6. Correct dress shall be worn. Everyone mounted, whether competing or not, shall wear a hard hat to 

at least the minimum standard (EN1384), with a harness properly adjusted and fastened. Failure to 

do so will incur elimination. Hard hats to specification PAS015:1998, ASTM F1163 and 

BSEN14572:2005 are considered to offer greater protection than EN1384. Recommended hard hats 

should carry the quality assurance stamp of Kitemark, SEI. or QAS. American standard SNELL E2001, 

ASTM 95 and Australian/New Zealand standard SNZ3838 1998 are also acceptable. Skullcaps must be 

worn with a silk. Hair must be secured in a hair net or in such a way that it does not hang lower than 

the shoulder line. Jewellery or any items worn in facial or body piercings are not permitted. 

7. The organisers reserve the right in the light of prevailing circumstances to cancel the event, alter 

classes, judges, times. 

8. In all cases the Judge's decision is final. Any objection shall be accompanied by a deposit of £20 and 

within half an hour of the incident. The deposit will be returned only if the objection is upheld. 

9. Refund of entry fees will be made to competitors only on production of a vet or doctor's certificate, 

except in the event of cancellation when all fees will be refunded less a small proportion to cover 

non-recoverable costs. 

10. Horse and ponies must not be tied up outside horse boxes or trailers and left unattended. Please pick up 
droppings from car parking area. 

11. NO DOGS ARE ALLOWED in any public areas or around the arenas. They must remain in the lorry 

park and be on a lead at all times. Can you also please ensure that you clean up after them. 

12. No lunging or galloping permitted. 

 

Health & Safety Policy The organiser of this event has taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health 

& safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable 

precautions to avoid and prevent accidents and shall obey the instructions of the organiser, and all officials 
and stewards.
