For the second year in succession the New Forest Pony Enthusiasts Club won the Rural Riders competition, beating 10 other teams with a clear 36 point victory.

This year the team consisted of:

Lead Pony - Longcopse Elton ridden by Amanda Pidgely
Farriers Fingerprint ridden by Martine Reeves
Farriers Foxglove ridden by Helen Campbell
Greencottage Democrat ridden by Louise James
Chester II ridden by Sally Anne Pierson
Kilncopse Fly by Night ridden by Dawn Vear
Test commanded by Sarah Green Chef D’Equipe

To add to this success they also took third in the Novice Dressage championship with individual placings as shown below:

Our one and only showjumper Rachel Smith with Sturtmoor Song ‘n’ Dance showed true grit completing 3 clear rounds in the Novice showjumping taking her into 12th position out of 91 competitors!
