“The weather was shocking, very hot & humid but it was worth the torture!” said Penny Prosser the owner & breeder of the successful three year old filly Aylstone Park Appleblossom  .She had an awesome show not only did she win the Supreme New Forest Championship she also won on the Saturday, Champion Native Junior & went on to be Supreme Native Champion. The next day she was Champion Home Produced.  Champion New Forest Junior, then Champion Junior Mountain & Moorland & Reserve Supreme Mountain & Moorland. After this marathon two days of showing “poor Apple was just as exhausted as we were “ says Penny she was very pleased with the English Judge Mrs Rachel Bown’s comment “This is a special pony”

  Arnwood Temperance

As if this isn’t enough good news for Applewitch Stud we also heard from Jodie Finnegan that her two year old filly Arnwood Temperance dam Arnwood Nikita a beautiful blue roan filly by  “Magic” was Reserve Junior New Forest Champion Reserve Champion Mountain & Moorland & Reserve Supreme Junior Mountain & Moorland.

These two Applewitch Pure Magic fillies are certainly flying the flag for UK bloodlines, highlighting   the success of the Australian breeders decision to import frozen semen, credit must be given to West Kington Stud who made it all possible. Penny Prosser has just purchased two more doses of “ Magic” semen to use, lets keep our fingers crossed she can breed another champion like “Apple”
