SURREY COUNTY - 29th MAY 2007

It was a pleasure to see so many nice Foresters brave the appalling conditions and very cold temperatures at the recent Surrey County show on at Stoke Park Guildford.

The 4 and over class was well supported with well made typey ponies right to the end of the line. After due deliberation I chose Mr & Mrs Large's Willoway Free Spirit, a well made exceptional mover as the winner, with Avril Darnton's nice young mare Rodlease Jubilation 2nd and Alex and Kerry Humble's stallion Lovelyhill Uplift in third place. It was pleasing to see that the rest of the line up were all nice ponies that were a credit to the breed.

The youngstock class unfortunately only had two entries forward but they were also of excellent quality. The class was won by Nick Williams Perrone Party an attractive brown yearling filly and Gail Brownrigg's Leith Ballad a three year old bay 2nd

The Champion was Willoway Free Spirit with Rodlease Jubilation reserve.
