Elton ran the forest from 1999 to 2001. An influential sire, with 180 progeny (including stallion sons Haywards Impressionist, Haywards Guardsman, Sway Mister Moon & Knavesash Oberon), Elite Stallion Gold Progeny Award and winning stock at home and abroad.
A wonderful stallion who enjoyed great success at the Breed Show, including In-Hand Forest Bred, Ridden Forest Bred and Overall Forest Bred Championship wins.
Versatilite and talented, Elton had “endless enthusiasm” not only as Mandy’s proven hunting pony, but also as her competition pony. He qualified for the National Dressage Championship finals 3 times…on his first visit, he won his arena and was 2nd overall in the whole National Championship! He was also on the winning dressage championship team for Rural Riders 3 times and his son Haywards Enigma, also won it 3 times. Two of his other sons, Haywards I’m The One and Haywards Intuition, were also on the winning team!
