The New Forest Pony Breeding & Cattle Society wish to thank everyone who attended the Boxing Day Point to Point for their patience and support at the event this year. There was a long delay whilst a seriously injured rider was airlifted to hospital and the event was abandoned as a result of this incident.
We are very grateful to the many people who helped in so many ways on the day and our thoughts are with the injured rider and their family at this very difficult time. It would be inappropriate for the society to comment further at this stage.
