“I did the Boxing Day point to point on Poppy 4 times, coming 2nd twice in the Ladies Race and she is only 13.2! Now she has been to the British Racing School at Newmarket with Ethan to do levels 1, 2 & 3, which means he can register with the Pony Racing Authority to pony race and p2p. He and Poppy were 3rd at Nottingham last weekend and have an exciting list of forthcoming fixtures…13 in all being well. Ethan is 14 and hoping to go on to British Racing School to become a jockey. He has a job as a trainee stable lad at Chris Gordon’s racing yard and also helps huntsman Jack at NFH on a Monday. Poppy is a straight cross TBxNF and has been the best pony we’ve had…she is very cool and laid back until she has to prove herself on the racetrack! ” Atlanta Austin
